Q.WILL ADDING AFTER MARKET PRODUCTS VOID MY WARRANTY?

A. No it will not.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty - Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act of 1975 protects consumers from such fradulent activity by new car dealers. Under this act aftermarket equipment that improves performance does not void a vehicle manufacturer's original warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Act a dealer must prove, not just vocalize, the aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before they can deny warranty coverage. If they cannot prove such a claim or offer an explanation, it is your legal right to demand compliance with the warranty.

Q. WHERE DID THE IDEA FOR THE ECONO MAXX COME FROM?

A. The inventors, Brian Leuenberger and his brother Danny, had been working on Brian's 1976 fuel-injected Corvette drag car. Consisting of a 735 horse DZ 302 small block, it held impressive time trials. However, after $27,000 in parts and $8,000 in machining, they needed more horsepower...hence the Econo Maxx. After its installation they had increased horsepower but, to their surprise, they had also increased gas mileage. Domestic vehicle performance testing proceeded immediately. Driving 5 days a week, a total of 1,300km per week, the horsepower increase was recorded and a mileage gain of close to 200km a tank after the second tank!

Q.HOW DOES IT WORK?

A.The Econo Maxx is easily installed in 5 minutes in most cars. It is installed into the air intake hose closest to the air filter box. Click to read Installation Instructions. The Econo Maxx is a non moving part, made of durable automotive plastic which operates on the basis of Vortex-Venturi, utilizing the Bernoulli's Principal of changing the angular velocity of the vehicle air intake.

Q.WILL I NOTICE AN IMMEDIATE CHANGE?

A.YES. After installation of the Econo Maxx drivers reported an immediate increase in horsepower.

Q.WHEN CAN I EXPECT A MILEAGE INCREASE?

A.After 2 tanks of gas. The Econo Maxx requires 2 tanks of gas after installation to clean carbon deposits from your engine. This process cleans the pistons, valves and spark plugs. Many drivers have reported an increase in mileage after the first tank, however after the second tank you will be more than impressed. This increase is maintained with proper engine maintenance, and safe driving operation of your vehicle.

Q. DO I NEED A RED, BLUE OR YELLOW ECONO MAXX FOR MY VEHICLE?

A. The Econo Maxx is available in 3 sizes, to accommodate almost every vehicle. As the unit is installed close to the air filter box, your unit must fit snuggly into the air intake hose. Measure the inside diameter of the air hose, then place your order for the correct sized unit. There are exceptions for certain models, please refer to our 800 Tech line for assistance, if you cannot establish which size you may need. Note: The Econo Maxx is a non moving part. Yellow unit: approximately 2.5" (actual size 2 9/16") Blue unit: approximately 3" (actual size 3 1/16") Red unit: approximately 3.5" (actual size 3 9/16")
